Link Solutions is seeking a Junior Data Engineer to support the mission of the III Armored Corps (IIIAC) at Fort Hood, Texas, by leveraging data engineering skills to support the development of data analytics processes, ensuring data-driven decision-making and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Possess an IAT Level II certification or higher in accordance with DoD 8570/8140 standards (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security, CISSP, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP).
- Minimum of eight (8+) years of experience in Power BI dashboard and report development.
- Proficient in DAX, Power Query (M), and complex data modeling techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to manage the full dashboard lifecycle, including concept development, deployment, and end-user training.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform tools, including Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint.
- Working knowledge of DAX, M (Power Query), and SQL.
- Experience with Power BI Gateway, Azure Synapse, Vantage, and Advana platforms.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise-grade Power BI dashboards that support unit readiness, logistics, training, and operations.
- Help in modeling large, complex datasets using star schemas and normalized structures to support scalable analytics.
- Integrate and automate data sources from platforms including SharePoint, GCSS-A, IPPS-A, Vantage, and eFLIPL.
- Develop and maintain refresh pipelines, gateway configurations, and PowerApps/Power Automate workflows.
