Thornton Tomasetti is seeking a Junior Financial Analyst to support global business decisions in a professional services environment.
Requirements
- Strong MS-Excel required (macros, pivots, data, advanced spreadsheets)
- Power BI experience required
- Microsoft Dynamics experience strongly preferred
- Engineering/Architecture or Professional Service industry experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist in conversion of current analyses from legacy formats (including excel) into Power BI
- Assist Financial Analysts in improving FP&A processes through standardization and automation, leveraging tools including but not necessarily limited to Power BI
- Support monthly compilation and analysis of financial results including revenue, expenses and an array of KPIs
- Support the upgrade and conversion of flexible financial models to answer queries and pressure test hypotheses
- Assist Financial Analyst(s) in regular reporting tasks as needed
- Create and maintain financial models
- Communicate findings to business leaders from multiple areas of the organization
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or business administration, with strong understanding of accounting
