Pioneering Evolution is seeking to support the development of secure, audit-ready backend services for a mission-critical federal software platform
Requirements
- Some experience with backend development using frameworks such as .NET Core or Node.js
- Some experience with frontend development (Angular preferred)
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems, as well as continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD) tools
- Exposure to federal software environments or projects requiring regulatory compliance
- Interest in secure software development, cloud platforms, or backend performance optimization
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and testing backend services using .NET Core to support secure and scalable functionality
- Write unit and integration tests to uphold system quality, performance, and maintainability
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, team planning sessions, and peer code reviews to develop best practices
- Collaborate with senior developers to expand knowledge of secure coding, system design, and compliance principles
- Contribute to technical documentation and actively engage in knowledge-sharing activities
Other
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
- Must be available to work full-time and on-site in the Washington D.C. metro area
- U.S. Citizenship and active Secret Clearance are required
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with a proactive, team-oriented mindset
