BigBear.ai is seeking a Jr. Full Stack Developer to support the modernization and ongoing maintenance of CBP information systems.
Requirements
- Foundational knowledge of Java and JEE technologies
- Basic front-end development skills with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and familiarity with XML/JSON
- Exposure to JavaScript frameworks such as JQuery, Angular, or React (academic or project experience counts)
- Understanding of relational databases and basic SQL queries
- Familiarity with object-oriented programming principles and software design concepts
- Interest in learning Agile development practices and modern DevOps tools
- Project-based experience developing applications using Java/JEE
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of JEE software applications
- Use modern software engineering tools and frameworks such as Eclipse, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, Docker, and Atlassian Products (Jira, Confluence)
- Contribute to Agile development practices including sprint planning, demonstrations, and retrospectives
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to ensure quality and maintainability

- Bachelor's Degree and 2 to 5 years of experience; Master's Degree and 0 to 3 years of experience; 8 to 10 years with no degree
