Troubleshoot, maintain, and support developed interfaces to and from the enterprise EHR and other downstream systems.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of computer systems analysis and programming techniques and procedures, including consulting with users to determine hardware, software and system specifications, design, development, documentation, analysis, creation, testing, coding, debugging, or modification of computer systems or programs based on and related to user design specifications
- Basic knowledge of IS standards and quality methods and metrics
- Basic knowledge of data exchange formats and protocols
Responsibilities
- Responsible for day-to-day incident response for integration-related issues
- Troubleshoot with 3rd parties concerning interface incidents
- Monitor the performance of interfaces and resolve any errors associated
- Work with hospital staff to investigate causes of system malfunctions and troubleshoot source of errors
- Manage and work in close coordination of with the project manager for the integration of newly built or acquired hospitals
- Evaluate and perform integration engine updates
- Support a 24/7 operation remotely after hours
Other
- Required: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent of education and experience.
- Desired: Bachelor's degree in computer science or technology-oriented degree
- 0-2 years of Information Systems experience, preferably in Healthcare IT
- Knowledge of clinical applications and workflows, implementation, enhancement and support methods and practices
- Basic knowledge of project management methods
