PDI Technologies is looking for a Junior Machine Learning Engineer to build AI and ML models for their security products to protect customers from emerging threats.
Requirements
A foundational understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms.
Some experience with Python and common ML libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy).
Familiarity with SQL and relational databases (Postgres is a big plus).
Experience with AWS SageMaker.
Experience with FastAPI.
Experience with dbt.
Responsibilities
Develop and experiment with AI agents to solve complex security challenges.
Design, build, train, and deploy machine learning models using Python and AWS SageMaker.
Collaborate with data engineers to ensure data quality and availability for model development.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient Python code for our APIs and services using FastAPI.
Contribute to the team's data management strategy using dbt and SQL.
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Formal training in Data Science, Statistics, Research Science or a related field (e.g., a bachelor's degree, bootcamp, or certificate program), or equivalent practical experience.
