Radiance Technologies is looking for a software engineer to evolve integration efforts between multiple Modeling & Simulation frameworks and incorporate/refine scenarios, vignettes, and critical mission threads across several simulation architectures based on customer needs for an AFRL mission.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year software development experience
- Minimum of 1 year C++, C, Python, or Java development experience
- Experience using source control and CI/CD tools such as git, Bitbucket, Gitlab, Jenkins, Gitlab runners, etc.
- Experience working with MS&A tools such as AFSIM, NGTS, and ITASE
- Experience following agile development processes
- Experience with virtual machine and container management platforms such as WSL2 and Docker
- Experience applying object-oriented design patterns within software applications
Responsibilities
- evolve integration efforts between multiple Modeling & Simulation frameworks such as AFSIM, ITASE, and NGTS
- incorporate and refine scenarios, vignettes, and critical mission threads across several simulation architectures based on customer needs
- work closely with both Government stakeholders and Radiance teammates across the country supporting other AFRL and Intelligence Community missions
- use Modern Agile software development practices
- adapt to a fast-paced, high-profile development effort supporting munition concept exploration and development
Other
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- US citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance
