Journal Technologies is looking to improve access and efficiency in the justice system by leveraging emerging technologies. They need to ensure the proper and efficient functioning of foundational aspects of society, specifically the courts and justice system, through enterprise software.

Requirements

  • Solid understanding of software development concepts and programming languages.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks is a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Enthusiasm for staying up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in QA and testing.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in creating detailed and comprehensive test plans and test cases for different software products.
  • Conduct functional, regression, and exploratory testing to identify and report bugs and usability issues.
  • Execute test cases, analyze results, and provide clear and concise bug reports with proper documentation.
  • Assist in reproducing and verifying reported issues to aid developers in troubleshooting.
  • Work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution of identified defects.
  • Contribute to the improvement of QA processes, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Provide valuable feedback and suggestions to enhance the overall product quality.

  • Currently enrolled as a student in a Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field at an accredited university or college.
  • Passionate about software quality and eager to learn about software testing methodologies.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Top-notch oral, written, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Affinity for multitasking with precision.
  • Capacity to accept and utilize constructive criticism.
  • Must be able to do hybrid work in LA.
