ATA is looking for a Jr. Release Engineer to support their portfolio of mobile games by planning, coordinating, validating, and executing client builds and asset patches to ensure smooth, timely, and high-quality releases.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with quality assurance processes and game testing
- Familiarity with Unity build tools and related release processes.
Responsibilities
- Operate internal tools to generate client builds and asset patches for release.
- Conduct QA testing on builds and patches to identify and resolve bugs before release.
- Troubleshoot build-related issues and escalate to engineering when necessary.
- Validate that release processes are followed consistently and accurately.
- Recommend and implement improvements to release workflows and tooling.
- Track and report release metrics, identifying opportunities for efficiency gains.
- Review and assess client build requests to ensure completeness and adherence to internal standards.
Other
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar field (software development or IT), a big plus if it was in mobile gaming!
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple releases simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional coordination.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- This is a remote position. You can work from anywhere in the world but working hours are in the PST timezone (9 a.m. - 6 p.m. PST).
