General Dynamics Mission Systems is seeking to enhance its advanced Cybersecurity and Encryption products to support the mission of the nation’s service members, intelligence analysts, and first responders.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) related field is required
- Agile experience preferred
- Clear understanding of software engineering concepts, principles, and theories
- Clear understanding of the software development process
- C/C++ development experience
- Ability to grasp and apply new information quickly and handle increasing responsibilities with growing complexity
- Ability to interact effectively with project teams, managers, and end users
Responsibilities
- Assist project leaders in the research, design, development, and testing of software and tools
- Develop new work products or enhance existing applications, systems, or embedded products
- Code, test, and document software solutions to advance technology solutions
- Work successfully within a team to solve customers’ missions in cyber, RF, undersea, interstellar space, and everything in between
- Apply advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, AR/VR, Cloud Native, and Quantum Physics
- Implement software solutions that support the development of top-secret technologies
- Contribute to the ongoing innovation and excellence in cybersecurity and encryption
Other
- Department of Defense SECRET security clearance is required at time of hire
- Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
- U.S. citizenship is required
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field
- This position is fully on-site; while on-site, you will be a part of the Dedham team
