ES&S is looking to hire a JR Software Engineer, Integrations Developer to assist in the development and testing of software solutions to meet the evolving needs of the voting industry, ensuring voter confidence and enhancing the voting experience.
Requirements
- Proficiency in one programming language.
- Proficiency in HTML5 and CSS
- Experience with SSIS and SSRS
- Experience in REST API development and usage
- Experience with Agile software development methodology
- Experience with SQL, PL/SQL preferred
- Experience with Relational Databases
Responsibilities
- Create developments in multiple languages to help build larger applications
- QA testing and debugging of produced code
- Development of applications and API endpoints within company middleware
- Troubleshoot system issues and provide explanations to software issues
- Effectively communicate with functional analysts to help provide technical solutions
- Read, write and understand functional and technical specification documents
- Effectively follow logic, read code samples, and provide common language pseudocode
Other
- Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in computer science is preferred, or equivalent experience
- Ability to collaborate with a multifunctional team
- Ability to analyze problems and design, implement and test appropriate solutions to problems
- Ability to document and communicate technical information for consumption by ES&S managers and associates
- Approximately 10% travel is expected.
