Visionist has an exciting upcoming opportunity for a Junior Software Engineer on our largest PRIME contract. Our team of Analysts and Engineers is motivated by the direct impact on the mission, crafting specialized tools for enhanced efficiency and quick iterations for our operations user base.
Requirements
- Basic proficiency in a programming language such as Python
- Familiarity with DevOps principles and CI/CD concepts
- Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) fundamentals
- Familiarity with web development fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Strong curiosity and willingness to learn AI/ML technologies and other emerging tools
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development, maintenance, and automated build and deployment of applications
- Learn and apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform to manage cloud environments
- Use Python to build backend services and automate processes
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of modern web applications and APIs
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to develop and integrate solutions across various platforms
Other
- Active Top Secret (TS/SCI) Clearance With Polygraph Is Required.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline. (Additional 4 years of experience may substitute degree)
- U.S citizenship required (green card holders and permanent residents are not eligible).
