BOEING is looking to develop cutting-edge software for VMS/GNC/Aero/Subsystems teams and needs software engineers to support the design, development, test, and maintenance of non-embedded software throughout the end-to-end lifecycle.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience developing non-real time software.
- 3+ years of experience with C/C++ coding or Java/Python script.
Responsibilities
- Support the design, development, test, and maintenance of non-embedded software throughout the end-to-end lifecycle.
- Assist with review, analysis, and translation of customer requirements into initial software product designs.
- Support development, maintenance, enhancement, and optimization of software products and functionalities for systems integrations.
- Support debugging and resolution of identified issues to ensure the reliability and efficiency of C/C++ or Java/Python software products.
- Participate in handling user inquiries, troubleshooting technical issues, and analyzing user feedback.
- Support development, establishment, monitoring, and improvement of software processes, tools, and key performance metrics.
Other
- Ability to obtain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
- Ability to obtain Special Program Access.
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, mathematics, data science or computer science is preferred.
- Ability to interface with various project teams, management, suppliers, and Boeing technical support.
- Relocation based on candidate eligibility.
