L3Harris is seeking to develop and analyze real-time embedded software systems
Requirements
Knowledge of real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded systems design
Development experience with the Linux OS
Proficiency with C++ and C programming languages
Proficiency with multi-threaded, multi-core, and real-time operating systems
Experience with object-oriented software development
Experience with embedded software emulators/debuggers
Experience optimizing software for performance, power consumption, and memory usage on various hardware platforms
Responsibilities
Work closely with an Agile team of experienced software engineers on projects that involve the development and analysis of real time Embedded SW system
Design, implementation, verification and troubleshoot of real-time embedded software
Development experience with the Linux OS
Proficiency with C++ and C programming languages
Proficiency with multi-threaded, multi-core, and real-time operating systems
Experience with object-oriented software development
Understanding of Design, Implementation, Integration and Testing of large software systems
Other
Ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team including hardware, software, and systems engineers
Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance
Bachelors Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience
Graduate Degree and a minimum of 0 - 2 years of prior related experience
In lieu of a degree, there is a minimum of 6 years of prior related experience in Embedded Software or DSP
