The MIL Corporation is seeking a Junior Software Engineer to assist in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software applications for a Federal Government client.
Requirements
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C++, or JavaScript)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Internship or prior work experience in software development
- Understanding of penetration testing, multilevel security architecture, and cross domain solutions
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), integrated development environments (IDEs), and software development methodologies (e.g., Agile)
Responsibilities
- Assist in coding, debugging, and implementing software applications in various programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, or JavaScript
- Participate in the testing and quality assurance processes to ensure the reliability and performance of software applications
- Create and maintain documentation for software projects, including design specifications, user manuals, and technical reports
- Work closely with senior developers, project managers, and other team members to understand project requirements and contribute to the development process
- Continuously improve your technical skills by staying up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and technologies
