Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) is looking for a Junior Data Center Technician to ensure all activities within their Data Centers and Access Centers conform to established procedures and industry best practices, while also supporting learning and administration of current data center operations.
Requirements
- Basic computer hardware knowledge
- 0-1+ years' experience of working in Data Center environments
- Good Understanding of Microsoft Office
Responsibilities
- Support storage tape removal and pick up
- Provide escorted access for vendors and COLO customers
- Carry out daily checks to ensure security and access policies are being adhered to and Data Center cleanliness is maintained.
- Carry out QA in Data Center Halls and access centers.
- Control Data Center stocks (copper/fibers patch cables, fiber cleaning accessories, cables labels, etc.) and report appropriately
- perform IT equipment review with daily visual Inspections
- assisting Data Center Engineers to gather information for a work order
