Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) needs a Product & Service Quality Manager to support the KC-46 Quality Team in Tukwila, WA, to ensure products, services, and processes comply with customer contract requirements, engineering requirements, company procedures, and government regulations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- 3+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment
- 3+ years of experience using Systematic Problem Solving
- FAA Repair Station Experience
- Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Responsibilities
- Manages employees who evaluate and ensure that products services and processes comply with customer contract requirements, engineering requirements, company procedures, and government regulations
- Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies to improve performance
- Provides education and coaching on the Quality System.
- Acquires and manages resources for a team that leads process improvements
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports
- Manages, develops and motivates employees
- Develop and present briefs with customers, and stakeholders
Other
- Must be able to work variable shifts, shift will be determined at the time of the offer
- Ability to work variable shifts which include working days, nights, weekends and/or holidays
- This position requires travel up to 10% of the time
- An interim U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start and final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
