AAM is seeking candidates to assist in the development of controls designs and hardware for new and refurbished manufacturing equipment, automation, and their integration to drive solutions for tomorrow
Requirements
- Basic understanding of AutoCAD (2013 or newer) preferred
- Must be enrolled in an accredited university full-time pursuing Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Robotic System Engineering, or Mechatronics Systems degree program, with emphasis on hands-on lab work preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist the Controls Engineer in the development of controls designs and hardware for new and refurbished manufacturing equipment, automation, and their integration
- Assist the Controls Engineer in the development and application of vision technology for inspection and bin picking
- Learn and apply standards that define the minimum controls requirements of Metal Forming equipment
- Learn and apply national electrical safety standards for new, refurbished and existing Metal Forming equipment
- Identify and implement advanced machine control, sensor, vision, and robotic technologies
- All other duties as assigned

- Must be able to work in the US without Visa Sponsorship
- Available to work 40 hours each week during rotations
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Must be enrolled in an accredited university full-time
