CACI is looking for a Knowledge Management and Quality Assurance (KM/QA) Lead to support the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Land Border Integration (LBI) Integrated Traveler Initiative (ITI2.1) program. The role aims to ensure operational excellence and quality in support of a critical mission by improving knowledge sharing, process standardization, and quality management practices within a fast-paced program that combines Agile software development and hardware integration.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with Agile development processes and tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar
  • Strong attention to detail and experience managing version control, templates, and documentation standards
  • Basic understanding of QA methodologies, service level agreements (SLAs), and risk management processes
  • Familiarity with ITIL, ISO, or CMMI frameworks
  • ITIL v4 Foundation certification (a plus)

Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation and upkeep of the Quality Control Plan (QCP), ensuring processes align with SLAs and program objectives.
  • Assist in quality reviews and audits of program deliverables, tracking peer review feedback and QA metrics.
  • Help monitor compliance with established quality standards and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Prepare quality documentation and assist with reporting quality performance at monthly Program Management Reviews (PMRs).
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action tracking for any quality issues that arise.
  • Maintain and update KM repositories (e.g., SharePoint, Confluence) to ensure version control and information accessibility.
  • Assist in developing SOPs, templates, and documentation standards to support consistent knowledge sharing across the team.

Other

  • U.S. Citizenship and ability to pass a CBP background investigation
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Information Systems, Business, Communications)
  • 5 or more years of experience in knowledge management, quality assurance, documentation coordination, or similar operational support roles
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be available to work a hybrid schedule with an on-site requirement in Sterling, VA
