Terray Therapeutics is looking to solve the problem of generating chemical data to propel drug discovery into the information age by creating and maintaining software systems that power wet-lab automation.
Requirements
- Demonstrated expertise (5+ years) with programming languages (Python, C-Sharp/.NET, Java)
- Demonstrated excellence in creating applications with state-of-the-art GUIs, thread management, and device level control
- Demonstrated expertise building device drivers and control software for laboratory equipment
- Demonstrated expertise integrating with external software using APIs/SDKs
- Familiarity with Micro-manager microscope software, ImageJ, and Beanshell scripting
- Familiarity with scripting environments of commercial lab automation packages, particularly Agilent VWorks and Biosero GreenButtonGo
Responsibilities
- Application level programming (Python, C-Sharp/.NET, Java)
- Interfacing with commercial software systems via APIs/SDKs
- Implementing custom scripting within vendor-provided laboratory control software
- Creation of device drivers for laboratory system integration
- Maintenance and extension of currently implemented code for systems control, imaging and data acquisition
- Implementing the integration of laboratory platforms with information managements systems (LIMS)
