Red Canyon Software is seeking a LabVIEW certified software engineer to support the Orion program by designing, developing, testing, integrating, troubleshooting, and upgrading software used in electrical ground support equipment for the Orion spacecraft.

Requirements

  • Certified LabVIEW Developer (CLD) certification
  • extensive use of NI LabVIEW, including LabVIEW FPGA and LabVIEW Real-Time
  • advanced knowledge of computer systems, programming architectures, data acquisition hardware, and information processing techniques
  • working within Linux-based environments
  • interfacing with various test and measurement instruments such as power supplies, DAQs, DMMs, switches, and relays
  • implement and support communication protocols including VISA, TCP/IP, and serial interfaces
  • contribute to Agile and DevOps workflows

Responsibilities

  • designing, developing, testing, integrating, troubleshooting, and upgrading software used in electrical ground support equipment for the Orion spacecraft
  • extensive use of NI LabVIEW, including LabVIEW FPGA and LabVIEW Real-Time, to create and maintain test and measurement applications
  • apply advanced knowledge of computer systems, programming architectures, data acquisition hardware, and information processing techniques to deliver reliable and scalable mission solutions
  • ensuring compliance with applicable software development standards and best practices throughout the lifecycle
  • working within Linux-based environments
  • interfacing with various test and measurement instruments such as power supplies, DAQs, DMMs, switches, and relays
  • implement and support communication protocols including VISA, TCP/IP, and serial interfaces
