Red Canyon Software is seeking a LabVIEW certified software engineer to support the Orion program by designing, developing, testing, integrating, troubleshooting, and upgrading software used in electrical ground support equipment for the Orion spacecraft.
Requirements
- Certified LabVIEW Developer (CLD) certification
- extensive use of NI LabVIEW, including LabVIEW FPGA and LabVIEW Real-Time
- advanced knowledge of computer systems, programming architectures, data acquisition hardware, and information processing techniques
- working within Linux-based environments
- interfacing with various test and measurement instruments such as power supplies, DAQs, DMMs, switches, and relays
- implement and support communication protocols including VISA, TCP/IP, and serial interfaces
- contribute to Agile and DevOps workflows
Responsibilities
- designing, developing, testing, integrating, troubleshooting, and upgrading software used in electrical ground support equipment for the Orion spacecraft
- extensive use of NI LabVIEW, including LabVIEW FPGA and LabVIEW Real-Time, to create and maintain test and measurement applications
- apply advanced knowledge of computer systems, programming architectures, data acquisition hardware, and information processing techniques to deliver reliable and scalable mission solutions
- ensuring compliance with applicable software development standards and best practices throughout the lifecycle
- working within Linux-based environments
- interfacing with various test and measurement instruments such as power supplies, DAQs, DMMs, switches, and relays
- implement and support communication protocols including VISA, TCP/IP, and serial interfaces
