The client, an American energy company, is looking for assistance with data analysis, document processing, and quality assurance to support their operations in the drilling and production of unconventional oil and natural gas assets. This role aims to improve data quality and extract insights from complex datasets.
Requirements
- 3+ years of previous data analysis experience required. Strong analytical skills
- Has the ability to work with other departments and mangment to determine organization goals, pinpoint trends, correlations and patterns in complicated data sets
- Able to search various internal and external database systems to identify legacy data and/or data that has not been uploaded to an ECM
- Experience generating reports
- Proficient in MS Office
Responsibilities
- Responsible for importing, cleansing, validating and analyzing data with the purpose of understanding or drawing conclusions from the data
- Process incoming documents
- Preparing physical documents to be scanned. Scanning physical documents
- Indexing and Quality Assurances of digital scans
- Processing document to route electronically
- May consolidate and/or present data in charts, graphs, or tables
- Focus on improving data quality
Other
- Work with moderate work direction and is skilled and knowledgeable to the position
- Able to provide supervision, training and mentoring to junior analysts within the department
- Verbal and written communication skills
- High School diploma or GED required
