GM is looking to ensure all manufacturing requirements, best practices, and Electrical Bill of Operations (BoO) elements are implemented correctly during vehicle launches, and that reflashed parts are used appropriately. This role acts as a central point of contact for electrical module issues and VeSCom releases to maintain quality and efficiency in the manufacturing process.
Requirements
- 2 years of experience with automotive electrical sub-systems.
- 3+ years of experience with automotive electrical sub-systems.
- Quality Engineering experience.
- Software experience.
- DVT Experience or Electrical Engineering.
- Knowledge of GEPICs/SPR and how that correlates to the release of software to the plant.
- Thorough knowledge of Manufacturing Requirements and how they impact the build process.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance to the Electrical Bill of Operations (BoO) standards.
- Single point contact for module reflash.
- Ensure reflashed parts are used correctly.
- Write SPPS/PRTS for software/module issues provided by diagnostician.
- Ensure TWO/EWO breakpoints are executed correctly by working with the CIC Coordinator.
- Single point of contact to the Electrical Team for VeSCom releases.
- Manage AVG ignores to ensure they are tracked, implemented, and correctly removed, when necessary, by directly communicating with the DVT Coordinator.
Other
- This role is categorized as onsite. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Spring Hill on a full-time basis.
- Up to 50% travel during builds and the launch phase.
- Ability to work off-shift and over-time as needed.
- Must be able to help root cause highly complex issues and work well with products and engineers and then translate executive summaries to non-technical people.
