GM is looking for a Launch Electrical Software/Module Breakpoint Coordinator QE to ensure all manufacturing requirements, best practices, and Electrical Bill of Operations (BoO) elements are implemented during vehicle launches, and to manage software/module issues.
Requirements
- 3 or more years of experience with automotive electrical sub-systems.
- 5+ years of experience with automotive electrical sub-systems.
- Quality Engineering experience.
- Launch experience.
- Software experience.
- Supply chain experience.
- DVT Experience or Electrical Engineering.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance to the Electrical Bill of Operations (BoO) standards.
- Single point contact for module reflash.
- Ensure reflashed parts are used correctly.
- Write SPPS/PRTS for software/module issues provided by diagnostician.
- Ensure TWO/EWO breakpoints are executed correctly by working with the CIC Coordinator.
- Single point of contact to the Electrical Team for VeSCom releases.
- Manage AVG ignores to ensure they are tracked, implemented, and correctly removed, when necessary, by directly communicating with the DVT Coordinator.
Other
- This role is categorized as onsite. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Spring Hill on a full-time basis.
- Ability to work off-shift and over-time as needed.
- Must be able to help root cause highly complex issues and work well with products and engineers and then translate executive summaries to non-technical people.
- Up to 50% travel during builds and the launch phase.
