ADP is looking to hire a Lead API Python Developer to design, develop, test, and implement impactful solutions that support companies with one to millions of employees, by working within a scrum team to bring designs and ideas to life for new or improved web applications.
Requirements
- 8+ years relevant industry and functional experience in Data-driven API Development and AWS Cloud-based technologies.
- Experience in building event driven intelligent platforms to be leveraged across the enterprise org is a plus.
- Experience working with Cloud data stores (specifically S3 AWS), Aurora Postgres.
- Proficiency with languages such as Python, SQL, Java.
- Experience working with Databricks.
- Exposure to workflow orchestration platforms such as Temporal is major plus.
- Experience with relevant code repository and project tools such as Bitbucket, JIRA and Confluence
Responsibilities
- You will work within a scrum team to bring the designs and ideas to life for new or improved web applications.
- You will work with clients, product managers, architects, software engineers, and more to plan, design, develop, test, and implement impactful solutions that support companies with one to millions of employees.
- You will start your day on a scrum call to prioritize and track work.
- Within the team you work on, you will choose user stories to work within a sprint cycle.
- You will spend most of your day developing and testing your code.
- Every three weeks, you will be involved in the release activities.
- You'll need to be an expert in building and designing highly performant and scalable data-driven applications.
