ADP Technology Services, Inc. is looking to hire Lead Application Developers to design and build impactful software solutions that support companies of all sizes, leveraging big data technologies and Agile methodologies to drive innovation in HR technology.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for working within a Scrum team to develop software designs that will be used for new and improved web applications.
- Use Databricks, Parquet/Delta, Spark Streaming, Kinesis, Kafka, AWS S3 and AWS Glue to build big data applications and optimize data transformations.
- Participate in a Scrum call to prioritize and track work and to choose user stories to work within a sprint cycle.
- Develop and test codes with Python, SQL, Spark, PySpark, SparkSQL, and integrating with web services, RESTful APIs, and opensource tools (Apache KAFKA).
- Leverage experience working with front-end, scripting, and back-end technologies and code complexities to design, develop, debug, and deploy software solutions.
- Choose user stories through prioritization, work within a team to understand responsibilities, identify issues, and communicate coding priorities in an Agile environment.
- Participate in other Agile ceremonies, including scheduled sprint demos, sprint planning, daily stand-up, sprint review and sprint retrospective.
Other
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, related Engineering disciplines, or related field plus six (6) years of related experience required. The company will also accept a Master's degree and four (4) years of related experience.
- Four (4) years of experience must include: RDBMS/NoSQL databases; Oracle, MySQL, Postgres; Data Pipelines with AWS services; SQL; Automation tools including Jenkins CI/CD, Terraform, CDK, or Boto3; Building workflows; BitBucket or any similar version control software; Kafka; Unix; DLT pipelines (Airflow or DBT).
- Experience must also include: AWS cloud services such as EC2, EMR, RDS, Redshift, IAM, Security Group, or VPC.
