Independence is looking for a Lead Application Developer – EPM Cloud to develop, maintain, and optimize Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) applications to support Finance, Actuarial, and Capital Planning departments, aiming to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency for equitable whole-person health innovation.
Requirements
- Proficiency in data integration tools and SQL.
- Experience with Oracle EPM/Hyperion applications (e.g., Planning, Profitability and Cost Management, Workforce Planning, Strategic Modelling) or other ERP systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Oracle EPM modules such as Planning, Enterprise Data Management, Profitability and Cost Management, and Strategic Modelling
- Configure business rules, calculations, and data integration processes using Oracle utilities.
- Develop custom reports and dashboards for financial analysis using Tableau and Oracle reporting tools.
- Ensure seamless integration of financial data from various systems into the EPM platform.
- Validate data accuracy and integrity through reconciliation processes.
- Perform application testing and support integrated releases and production deployments.
- Prepare procedures and application documentation
Other
- Lead project teams consisting of functional and technical resources
- Work closely with finance teams to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
- Stay up to date on newly released functionality
- Research and implement new features
- Provide training and support to end-users on Oracle EPM functionalities.
- Identify opportunities for improving system performance and implementing best practices in EPM usage.
- Ensure compliance with corporate change management requirements
- Mitigate risks by developing robust system controls.
- Maintain role-based access controls.

- Associates working in the office 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday) and remotely 2 days a week (Monday & Friday).
- While associates may work remotely on our designated remote days, the work must be performed in the Tri-State Area of Delaware, New Jersey or Pennsylvania.
- Must have an Android or iOS device which is compatible with the free Microsoft Authenticator app.
