The Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) is looking to solve the problem of maintaining and continuously automating a large, complex virtualization and cloud-based computing environment, and providing technical guidance and liaison services between internal departments.
Requirements
- Develop and maintain CI/CD frameworks from code to deploy using Jenkins to speed the development process through automation
- Setup Jenkins pipeline for Terraform automation and Ansible automation and enable build triggers to apply changes to AWS platform
- Kubernetes administration and support, design Rancher architecture on-prem and AWS, troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues related to cluster availability, performance, application deployments and scheduling
- Define Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for configuration changes, networking, storage, and security utilizing AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform
- Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform
- Experience with automation design scripts, processes, and procedures
- Experience with cloud infrastructure architecture design and development
Responsibilities
- Maintain and continuously automate a large, complex virtualization and cloud-based computing environment
- Provide technical guidance within the team on networking and serve as a technical liaison between internal departments
- Design, develop, and build the business’s cloud infrastructure architecture
- Develop and maintain a library of deployable, tested, and documented automation design scripts, processes, and procedures
- Develop and maintain CI/CD frameworks from code to deploy using Jenkins to speed the development process through automation
- Setup Jenkins pipeline for Terraform automation and Ansible automation and enable build triggers to apply changes to AWS platform
- Kubernetes administration and support, design Rancher architecture on-prem and AWS, troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues related to cluster availability, performance, application deployments and scheduling
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related
- Five (5) years of experience as a software developer, software engineer, test manager, consultant, or related
- Up to 40% telecommuting permitted
- Must be able to work in a hybrid work environment, up to 2 days per week of remote work
