Snap Inc. is looking for a Lead, Business Intelligence Engineer to join Team Snapchat to help unlock revenue and drive category growth by uncovering actionable insights, identifying aggregate vertical trends, and performing in-depth client analysis.
Requirements
- Proficiency in sql and python/R for analysis and data visualization
- Experience in performing analysis on big data sets and coming up with actionable insights
- Are able to grasp business problems and design technical data-based solutions that are implementable, efficient, and scalable
Responsibilities
- Understanding challenges the business faces and helping them to make decisions based on data driven insights by collating and analyzing information from multiple sources and a logical and coherent story.
- Understand the business challenges and needs to help leadership make data driven decisions by analyzing and combining data across multiple sources.
- Identify performance trends across auction campaigns to fuel optimization recommendations; evangelize best practices across the account management group
- Use data and logic to impact client and business success by providing analysis, insights,reports and actionable recommendations
- Partner with cross-functional teams to build out measurement agendas/strategies, provide data based insights for products in alpha or beta, and deliver feedback on data tools in development.
- Distill complicated analytical concepts for broader audiences and be able to influence their decision making through a data story
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports to help the business understand and optimize advertiser performance and product development through a client-centric lens.
