Sev1Tech is looking for a Lead Cloud Architect to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of the program's cloud-based infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security, and to provide technical guidance to other architects and engineers.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in cloud architecture with public cloud providers (certificate preferred) such as AWS, Azure, OCI, and GCP in FedRAMP and FedRAMP+ environments
- Cloud Architecture experience.
- Strong knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and Git.
- Proven experience designing and implementing highly scalable, available, and fault-tolerant cloud-based infrastructure solutions.
- Experience leading DevOps teams and implementing automation tools and processes.
- Strong knowledge of network architecture and security principles.
- Knowledge of security and compliance requirements for cloud-based solutions.
Responsibilities
- Leading the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex cloud and cloud infrastructure solutions that meet Government requirements.
- Developing and implementing cloud architecture standards and best practices.
- Working closely with development teams to ensure infrastructure supports the software development life cycle, including continuous integration and deployment.
- Leading the DevOps team to develop automation tools and processes to streamline software development and deployment
- Ensuring that cloud infrastructure is scalable, reliable, and secure.
- Implementing and maintaining monitoring and logging solutions to detect and diagnose issues in the cloud infrastructure and software applications.
- Evaluating new cloud technologies and common services and make recommendations for their use.

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in ... at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role.
- CompTIA Sec+ Certification.
- Proof of U.S. Citizenship and must possess a minimum of an active DoD Secret security clearance.
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
