The partner company of Jobgether is looking to solve the problem of leading and shaping the criminal and public records data strategy within a high-impact, fast-paced environment in the United States.
Requirements
- Proven expertise in SQL, with ability to write and optimize complex queries.
- Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or similar tools for data manipulation and automation.
- Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization platforms.
- Familiarity with ETL processes, data pipeline orchestration, and cloud-based data warehouses.
- Strong understanding of statistical methods, data modeling techniques, and data governance standards.
- Experience with data analysis, with at least 2 years in a mentoring or leadership capacity.
- Proficiency in data manipulation and automation tools
Responsibilities
- Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights that inform strategic and operational decisions.
- Lead ETL processes, data integration, and automation initiatives to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, data models, and algorithms for reporting, analytics, and product enhancement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, QA, and Product, to ensure alignment with the criminal data product roadmap.
- Mentor and guide junior analysts, sharing best practices and fostering technical growth within the team.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders and senior leadership in a clear, actionable manner.
- Implement data validation, error handling, and quality assurance measures to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- 7+ years of experience in data analysis, with at least 2 years in a mentoring or leadership capacity.
- Excellent project management, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data insights into business recommendations.
- Fully remote position with occasional business travel.
