Requirements
- Four (4) years of experience in data analytics preferably in healthcare or process improvement
- Demonstrated analytical skills with knowledge of statistical processes
- Comprehensive knowledge and application of Robust Process Improvement methods
- Computer software experience including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
Responsibilities
- Manages analysis and interpretation of system-wide data to demonstrate clinical and financial outcomes.
- Manage, track and evaluate performance measures, identify data trends, make recommendations for clinical quality improvement initiatives when appropriate on required measures.
- Manages the development of and implementation of process improvement strategies.
- Leads the enterprise clinical data management program used for strategic planning and day to day robust process improvement and management decisions.
- Provides and analyzes the data necessary to support new initiatives and evaluate existing initiatives.
- Leads in developing report templates for Board, enterprise and hospital level reporting – automating the data capture when possible.
- Manages the tracking and reporting of regulatory data requirements across the enterprise and submissions to Center for Medicare and Medicaid, The Joint Commission and other regulatory agencies.
Other
- Bachelors degree in health care administration, nursing, business or a related field; Master preferred
- Demonstrated record of coaching, training, and directing other analysts
- Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, including executives, managers, and subject matter experts
- Ensures safe care to patients, staff and visitors; adheres to all Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and standards within budgetary specifications including time management, supply management, productivity and quality of service.
- Promotes individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education and skills competency; supports department-based goals which contribute to the success of the organization; serves as preceptor, mentor and resource to less experienced staff.
