Disney's Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) Data team is seeking a Lead Data Analyst to optimize Disney Streaming products (D+, Hulu) by assessing and improving browse telemetry data quality and producing high-impact analysis of streaming product performance.
Requirements
- Proven expertise in independently designing, executing, and interpreting A/B tests.
- Advanced SQL skills, with the ability to manipulate, cohort, and transform large datasets effectively.
- Advanced skills with both Tableau, Looker, and Look ML
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker) and the ability to communicate insights through compelling storytelling.
- Expertise with statistical tools (e.g., R, Python) and data warehousing concepts.
Responsibilities
- Independently analyze user navigation and pathing data to uncover actionable insights and drive improvements to the Hulu user experience.
- Drive rapid-response investigations and anomaly detection efforts to diagnose data or product issues and guide timely remediation.
- Develop and present recommendations for optimizing experiences, balancing business goals with user satisfaction.
- Take full ownership of analytics projects, from identifying business needs and formulating hypotheses to delivering polished insights and recommendations.
- Create dashboards and advanced reports using tools like Tableau and Looker to track performance, trends, and experimentation outcomes.

- 7+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related discipline.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with experience delivering insights to stakeholders at all levels.
