The Self-Directed (SD) Marketing Analytics team at Vanguard is seeking an experienced lead analyst to support the Personal Investor Marketing team by providing insights and solutions for audience targeting, client journey analysis, marketing channel usage, and content creation.
Requirements
- Proficiency in SQL, Tableau, Python, PySpark and cloud platforms like AWS and Snowflake.
- Experience with tools like Tableau and Power BI.
- Strong understanding of marketing principles and strategies (e.g., A/B, multivariate, multi-armed bandit).
Responsibilities
- Acquire and compile structured and unstructured data, verifying its quality, accuracy, and reasonableness.
- Perform analyses of historical data to surface trends and insights using advanced analytical methods.
- Validate analytical techniques employed by other analysts.
- Develop expertise in key subject areas (e.g., audience targeting, client journey, marketing channel usage, and marketing content).
- Prepare and deliver visualizations and internal presentations that translate analytic insights into tangible, actionable solutions for business partners to implement.
- Develop, own, and manage recurring analytic or reporting processes.
- Bring structure to business requests, translate requirements into an analytical project approach, and lead projects through completion.
Other
- Over seven years in analytics, data science, or business intelligence.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; master’s or PhD preferred.
- Strong skills in communication, presentation development, and stakeholder engagement.
