Requirements
- Strong expertise in SQL, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts.
- Hands-on experience with MySQL, MongoDB, and Snowflake.
- Proven experience building and operating data pipelines in AWS-based environments.
- Experience with ETL/ELT frameworks and orchestration tools such as Airflow or dbt.
- Proficiency with Python or similar languages for data engineering tasks.
- Experience with real-time or event-driven data processing using Kafka or MSK.
- Familiarity with machine learning pipelines and analytics enablement.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and evolution of scalable, cloud-based data platforms and pipelines.
- Architect, build, and optimize batch and event-driven data workflows in AWS.
- Ensure data quality, reliability, security, and governance across systems.
- Design and integrate data solutions across relational, NoSQL, and analytics platforms.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and architectural guidance to data engineers.
- Partner with DevOps, platform teams, and stakeholders to deliver production-ready data systems.
- Collaborate with clients, analysts, and data scientists to translate business needs into data solutions.
Other
- 6+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
- Excellent communication skills and comfort working in client-facing roles.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
