Stryker Corporation's Endoscopy division is looking to architect and deliver scalable data solutions that directly impact commercial strategy and operational excellence, shaping how data is accessed, interpreted, and leveraged across the business.
Requirements
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming and data structures.
- Skills in at least one core data engineering language (e.g., SQL, Python).
- Experience with ETL/ELT processes, pipeline orchestration, and data warehouse architecture.
- Hands-on experience with cloud-native tools (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP, Power BI).
- Experience developing data models and infrastructure for business intelligence platforms.
- Familiarity with programming languages used in data analytics (e.g., R, DAX, M).
- Knowledge of DataOps, DevOps, and/or SecOps practices.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end data engineering projects from requirements gathering through architecture validation and deployment.
- Design and build robust data infrastructure to transform and structure data from multiple systems for downstream use.
- Develop and maintain databases, servers, and data models that support commercial business needs.
- Manage data platforms including Azure and Power BI, ensuring optimal performance and accessibility.
- Oversee data model refresh schedules to balance business needs with system efficiency.
- Investigate and implement new data engineering infrastructure to support evolving business requirements.
Other
- Minimum 6 years of applicable data engineering and architecture experience.
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience in data engineering or advanced data analytics.
- Proven experience leading full-cycle data engineering/analytics projects.
- Experience using Agile/DevOps methodologies and project management tools.
- 10% Travel Percentage
