Incedo is looking for a Lead Data Modeler to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level data models to ensure data consistency and enable effective analytics, reporting, and application development.
Requirements
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Familiarity with data modeling tools such as Erwin, ER/Studio, or similar.
- Strong expertise in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling.
- Hands-on experience with Collibra and enterprise metadata management.
- Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and master data management principles.
- Experience with big data platforms and streaming technologies.
- Knowledge of financial services or capital markets domain.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support enterprise analytics, reporting, and application needs.
- Identify, profile, and document datasets, metadata, and data lineage in the enterprise data catalog.
- Review and optimize existing data models for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Ensure data modeling best practices, standards, and governance policies are consistently applied.
- Participate in data architecture and governance discussions, contributing to enterprise data strategy.
Other
- 8+ years of experience in data modeling, with at least 3 years in a lead role.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data architects, data engineers, and application developers to align data models with business requirements and technical standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
