Responsibilities
- Independently research, analyze and apply machine learning, statistical and analytical algorithms against large data sets
- Explore and test various algorithms to improve existing systems and develop solutions, achieve business objectives
- Architect Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) portion of multiple, large projects
- Develop prototypes and collaborate with software engineers to implement the chosen algorithm(s) in a full production system
- Perform data analysis, experiment with various software designs, brainstorm new research ideas and implement these ideas with a mixture of popular technologies
- Report issues
- Mentor junior data scientists and engineers
Other
- Master’s degree in Analytics, Computer Science or Information Science/Systems or Information Management plus two years of experience in software development or data analytics required
- Telecommuting permitted
- Travel to various and unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S.
- Work with internal client teams and other business stakeholders to define project requirements and translate into data science deliverables
