The company is seeking Lead Data Scientists to independently research, analyze, and apply machine learning and statistical algorithms to solve business problems and improve systems across various and unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S.

Responsibilities
- Independently research, analyze and apply machine learning, statistical and analytical algorithms against large data sets.
- Explore and test various algorithms to improve existing systems and develop solutions to achieve business objectives.
- Architect Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) portion of multiple, large projects.
- Develop prototypes and collaborate with software engineers to implement the chosen algorithm(s) in a full production system.
- Perform data analysis, experiment with various software designs, brainstorm new research ideas and implement these ideas with a mixture of popular technologies.
- Work with internal client teams and other business stakeholders to define project requirements and translate into data science deliverables.
- Mentor junior data scientists and engineers.
Other
- Master’s degree in Analytics, Computer Science or Information Science/Systems or Information Management
- Two years of experience in software development or data analytics required
