The Data Science, Analytics and AI group within Macquarie Asset Management aspires to create a data-driven decision-making culture through the advancement of analytic and AI capabilities in support of business growth.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in data science, including successful project delivery, advanced SQL skills, and at least 2 years of programming in Python
- Proven ability to implement data science and AI solutions with measurable ROI, ideally with experience in Private Markets
- Experience with Agentic AI platforms is required.
- Detailed knowledge of Google Gemini and Agent Development Kit is viewed favorably
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of articulating the strategic value of ML and AI to senior leadership and the board, fostering a positive team environment, and thriving in agile, fast-changing contexts.

- lead a global team to drive innovation in advanced analytics and AI, solving complex challenges across Private Markets, Credit, Insurance, and other financial strategies.

- Relevant tertiary qualification (Master’s or Doctorate preferred) in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field, with 10+ years of industry experience
