Akkodis is seeking a Lead Data Scientist to design advanced machine learning models and lead data-driven strategies to solve complex business problems for a client in Malvern, PA.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in Python, SQL, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Proven experience in building and deploying machine learning models at scale in production environments.
- Minimum 8+ years in data science, with at least 3 years in a leadership or team lead role.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of advanced machine learning models to solve complex business problems and deliver actionable insights.
- Build and optimize scalable data pipelines and architectures, ensuring efficient data processing and integration for model development.
- Perform exploratory data analysis and feature engineering, leveraging statistical and predictive modeling techniques.
- Deploy, monitor, and maintain machine learning models in production, implementing best practices for MLOps and model lifecycle management.
- Mentor junior data scientists and establish best practices for data science workflows, coding standards, and documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers and business stakeholders, to translate requirements into data-driven solutions.
Other
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum 8+ years in data science, with at least 3 years in a leadership or team lead role.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
