Cleveland Clinic is looking to solve the problem of providing patient-first healthcare by hiring a skilled software developer to lead a team and design, develop, and support existing systems.
Requirements
- Experience with: SOA development using SOAP and REST; mobile application development and associated libraries.
- Proven track record of enterprise architecture experience with large volume, high availability enterprise applications.
- Experience with Microsoft .NET Technology Stack and Relational Database Design.
- Programming languages: Microsoft C-Sharp, iOS Swift, Kotlin, Microsoft T-SQL, JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5.
- JavaScript Frameworks: Angular, Node, Vue, React
- Experience with APIs, microservices, and data integration
- Knowledge of integration platforms (e.g., HL7, FHIR, API management tools)
Responsibilities
- Direct the efforts of software developers and other technical team members in a team daily.
- Analyze, design, and coordinate the development of software systems.
- Iterates with team members around design and development.
- Determine and communicate the implications of system-level decisions on subsystems and components.
- Translate clinical problems into innovative healthcare solutions.
- Gather business and application specific requirements.
- Ensure all requirements are met as well as maintained within defined project scope
Other
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
- A minimum of 15 years of software development experience.
- Offset: High School Diploma / GED or equivalent and 20 years of experience.
- ITIL Foundations certification is required within 6 months of position start date
- Healthcare experience in a large organization
