Apollo is seeking an experienced lead engineer to design and implement solutions focused on their trade lifecycle functions across Credit, aiming to deliver uncommon value to investors and shareholders.
Requirements
- 9+ years of hands-on development expertise with a strong emphasis on Python and event-driven architectures.
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools such as GitHub, GitLab, or Azure DevOps
- Familiarity with Event-based architectures using RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Azure Event Hubs
- Microsoft Azure experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Design and build software interacting directly with our data infrastructure, Python front office applications and Java Operations stack.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership in architecture, design, development, code reviews, quality assurance, observability, and product support.
- Fluency in modern tools, Python, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, and Java to contribute across the firm’s technology stack.
- Participate and contribute to design discussions and code reviews.
- Build positive relationships with other team members, collaborate, and communicate effectively to reach successful outcomes.
- Set the example and provide technical direction to a team of developers.
