Q2 is looking to enhance its digital banking platform by hiring a Lead Front End Engineer to design, implement, and support cutting-edge solutions that empower its clients
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience with JavaScript or Typescript
- Proficiency in Vue.js or other frontend frameworks
- Extensive experience in API development utilizing Node.js
- Deep understanding of software design principles and a pragmatic approach to meeting deadlines
- Strong experience with unit and integration testing frameworks
- Experience utilizing AI tooling for writing and reviewing code is a +
- Experience with build and deployment automation (e.g., TeamCity, Octopus Deploy, Docker)
Responsibilities
- Research, architect, and build sub-systems that successfully integrate with new and existing platforms
- Dissolve complex requirements into meaningful, manageable units of work
- Apply advanced design patterns and technologies when appropriate without over-engineering solutions
- Own the responsibility of developing high quality software with the right balance of test automation
- Responsible for ensuring that all security, availability, confidentiality and privacy policies and controls are adhered to
- Communicate and document efforts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Elevate the skills of those around you by providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers

- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in (relevant degree) and a minimum of 12 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with 8+ years of experience; or equivalent related work experience
