Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in Java & Spring Cloud, with a deep understanding of microservices architecture and Kafka streaming.
  • Proven experience building UI features using React/Angular with GraphQL.
  • Regular use of AI-enhanced development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, WindSurf).
  • Extensive experience with Cloud Technologies (AWS/GCP preferred).
  • Hands-on experience in data architecture, SQL/PostgreSQL, and developing data-intensive services.
  • Nice to have experience in working with Business Rules Management Systems (BRMS) like Drools, Kogito etc.
  • Prior experience in building, launching, and maintaining complex systems.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable, secure, and configurable platform services for the Cost Containment team.
  • Lead full-stack development and support of services across backend (Java/Spring Cloud), integration platforms (Kafka, Mulesoft), and frontend (React/Angular/GraphQL etc.).
  • Utilize working knowledge of AI-powered developer tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor) and actively contribute to AI adoption in development and operational aspects.
  • Build and enrich APIs and data services to integrate with partners and our claims engine.
  • Collaborate with product managers, operations analysts, and data teams in building solutions that leverage Business Rules Management Systems (BRMS) like Drools etc.
  • Actively work with the operations team to create efficient processes through automations to improve SLAs.
  • Understand architectural decisions and actively drive reusable patterns for cloud-native, AI-enabled backend systems.

  • 8+ years as a Full-Stack engineer.
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels and teams.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, and product managers, to gather requirements and ensure solutions meet business needs.
