Verra Mobility is seeking a Lead Fullstack Developer to enhance its technology-enabled solutions for smart mobility, focusing on improving safety and ease of movement through technology.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Java (Spring Boot) and Node.js.
- Proficiency in SQL and relational database design (Postgres preferred).
- Proven AWS experience with production workloads.
- Solid understanding of modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue).
- Strong grasp of testing best practices (unit, integration, E2E).
Responsibilities
- Lead development efforts for complex features and projects, ensuring technical excellence.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in Java and Node.js.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints.
- Build responsive, high-performance UI components.
- Work with AWS services to design and deploy cloud-native applications.
- Collaborate closely with DevOps for CI/CD and infrastructure automation.
- Mentor developers through code reviews, pair programming, and technical sessions.
Other
- 7+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 in a lead role.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Must be located in Phoenix, AZ and be willing to commute into our Mesa, AZ office two days a week.
