Cox Automotive is looking to drive the development of their mobile application by hiring a Lead iOS Developer who can combine hands-on development expertise with technical leadership and mentorship.
Requirements
- 5+ years of iOS development experience with strong proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI and AI Companion Coding.
- Proven experience leading technical initiatives, mentoring developers, and working closely with UX/UI teams to influence design decisions.
- Ability to create and maintain procedures, documentation, and workflows that help teams stay organized and productive.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to explain complex technical concepts to stakeholders.
- Understanding of REST APIs, backend systems, and monitoring/alerting practices.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and document complex iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI.
- Provide guidance and coaching to team members on iOS development, Swift/SwiftUI best practices, and mobile architecture.
- Monitor and communicate project progress, identifying risks and blockers proactively while providing clear vertical communication to management.

- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 6 years’ experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master’s degree and 4 years’ experience; a Ph.D. and 1 year of experience; or 18 years’ experience in a related field.
