The company is looking to build and scale a foundational platform engineering ecosystem to empower engineering teams to ship software faster, more reliably, and with greater autonomy. This involves breaking down silos by creating a unified Internal Developer Platform (IDP) that standardizes tooling, automates infrastructure, and champions a culture of "you build it, you own it."

Requirements

  • Containerization & Kubernetes – Strong understanding of systems for container based deployments, including Azure AKS / AWS EKS, as well as various hybrid cloud deployment distributions like Redhat Openshift, SuSE Rancher, k3s, k0s. Underlying container technologies such as the OCI format, Docker/podman runtimes, etc.
  • Cloud Architecture & Governance – Strong understanding of cloud-native operating models and platform governance frameworks, including infrastructure-as-code, policy enforcement, and multi-tenant infrastructure at scale
  • AI/ML integration experience – Experience embedding AI/ML workloads into hybrid cloud platforms, including intelligent data pipelines, automating anomaly detection, or supporting inference platforms- especially in environments with unstructured data or real-time decision making requirements.
  • Data Platform Proficiency – understanding of SQL and other enterprise database systems, including document stores and modern replacements such as DocumentDB/MongoDB.
  • ITSM & Workflow Automation Experience - working knowledge of ServiceNow, including access control, change and release management workflows.
  • Certifications & Continuous Improvement – holds or actively pursues relevant certifications such as AWS/Azure Solutions Architect, CKA/CKAD or equivalents in cloud infrastructure, automation, and security domains.

Responsibilities

  • Architect & Build Golden Paths: Design, build, and maintain paved roads for our engineering teams. You'll create reusable, self-service infrastructure patterns, MLOps platforms, advanced CI/CD systems, and observability dashboards that make the right way the easy way.
  • Champion Platform-as-a-Product: Treat our internal platform as a product. You'll engage with your customers—our developers—to understand their pain points, gather requirements, and build solutions that enhance their velocity and overall experience.
  • Drive DevOps & SRE Culture: Lead the cultural shift towards modern DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices. You will mentor teams on best practices for CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), observability, and security, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Automate Everything: Develop and manage our core platform pipelines and infrastructure using IaC tools like OpenTofu and Pulumi. You will drive automation across all stages of the platform lifecycle, from build and test to deployment and monitoring.
  • Evolve our Cloud & Container Ecosystem: Manage and optimize our multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes). You'll ensure our platform is scalable, secure, and cost-effective using cutting-edge, cloud native technologies.
  • Document for Scale: Create high-quality documentation for our platform's architecture, standards, and user guides. Clear documentation is key to enabling self-service and breaking down knowledge silos.
