Electronic Arts (EA) IT Player and Creator Experience team needs to develop innovative platforms that assist players throughout their support journey, enable creators to share unique content, and ensure safe online gaming communities by building low latency, cloud-native, and generative AI applications that enhance Fan Care and Creator Engagement.
Requirements
- Expert-level proficiency with Java 17+, Spring Boot 3.x, Spring Framework, and enterprise Java patterns, React, angular etc.
- Deep expertise in microservices architecture patterns, distributed systems, enterprise integration and messaging patterns, and building scalable, highly available APIs following security best practices including Spring Security, OAuth, JWT, and enterprise authentication patterns
- Extensive experience with AWS cloud services including ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS/Aurora, API Gateway, and AWS networking for Java applications
- Extensive cloud platform experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure) with containerization and serverless architectures
- Solid experience with both SQL databases (Amazon RDS, Aurora, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, MongoDB)
- Strong DevOps experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Experience integrating machine learning and AI services with Web applications
Responsibilities
- Be a technical leader for architectural direction on major, complex programs rolling out high-volume applications and microservices
- Drive end-to-end project execution from conception to production deployment, taking full ownership of delivery timelines and ensuring successful project outcomes
- Demonstrate strong hands-on experience developing full stack applications to implement architectural solutions and guide technical implementation
- Lead architectural design of complex web applications using Java, React, Springboot and cloud technologies
- Deliver backend experiences in partnership with distributed teams, ensuring Java architectural vision integrates seamlessly with React/Angular frontend applications
- Establish technical standards, best practices, and architectural patterns for full stack development across multiple teams
- Architect cloud infrastructure solutions and oversee DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment strategies

- Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of full stack development experience with 3+ years in architectural or senior technical leadership role
- Experience leading technical teams, driving architectural decisions, and mentoring engineers
