Requirements
- 16+ years of overall experience, including 8+ years delivering critical systems
- Deep domain expertise in finance, risk, forecasting, and regulatory work
- Proficiency in Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices, Python, R, Hibernate, SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle, REST, SOAP, MVC frameworks, and Linux/Unix environments
- Experience with forecasting frameworks, regulatory reporting, interest rate risk, and stress testing models
- Strong performance tuning and optimization skills, including SQL and PL/SQL optimization, Hibernate performance tuning, and JVM and memory optimization
- Experience with AppDynamics, Introscope, RPT, and other profiling tools
- Strong SDLC and architectural mindset, including high-level design and technical specification creation, hardware and software requirement planning, and migration strategies
Responsibilities
- Delivering critical systems, such as the Ruby Forecasting Engine, which underpins Finance and Risk reporting, CCAR, ICAAP, IRR, NII, EVE sensitivity analysis, and more
- Designing and delivering robust, scalable systems, leveraging extensive experience in full-stack enterprise development
- Performing performance tuning and optimization, including SQL and PL/SQL optimization, Hibernate performance tuning, and JVM and memory optimization
- Leading global, cross-functional teams, including recruitment and mentorship, development standards enforcement, and environment setup and delivery coordination
- Owning SDLC and architectural mindset, including high-level design and technical specification creation, hardware and software requirement planning, and migration strategies
- Ensuring seamless delivery and managing distributed teams
- Developing and delivering enterprise-grade solutions, leveraging expertise in Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices, Python, R, Hibernate, SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle, REST, SOAP, MVC frameworks, and Linux/Unix environments
